My Story.

Perry Lewis is a master engraver specialising in the traditional skill of hand engraving. Perry started his career at the age of 16 when he applied for an apprenticeship at an award winning wedding ring manufacturers. Six and a half years later he progressed to a highly renowned hand engravers in the jewellery quarters of London, where he built upon his skills.

With almost 20 years experience Perry become a Freeman of the City of London and had the pleasure of meeting royalty. Perry has engraved for many of the top jewellers and goldsmiths in the UK, engraved on commissions for celebrities and has also worked on many prestigious trophies and events including but not limited to: Wimbledon, The Heineken Cup, The FA Premier League Cup, The Augusta Masters, The ICC Cricket World Cup, The Americas Cup and The Cartier Queens Cup.

The Wedding Engraver started as an idea Perry shared with a friend back in 2014 who tragically passed away 2 years later. Since then in his honour Perry has worked on perfecting his idea and skills so he can make the dream come true.

The tools Perry uses are called gravers and the technique has not changed for almost 500 years. The engraving process is quiet and involves no machinery; in a world of machines, lasers and mass production hand engraving is an art that is slowly dying out. The Wedding Engraver strives to put value and meaning back into the engraving of your wedding rings and what better time than on your special day. Perry is offering a once in a lifetime chance to have a master hand engraver carve the inside of your wedding rings whilst you get married.
